My Role

Octocube Games started as my internship, and the team kept me on part‑time while I continued my web‑developer education. Working on‑site as a solo developer, I owned the full stack: UX/UI design, brand implementation, web app development, DevOps, and deployment. I also collaborated closely with the design team to define a new brand identity and translated it into an accessible, responsive component system.

My main contributions:
  • Increased brand visibility and product awareness by launching the company’s first online portfolio and implementing SEO practices to attract more clients
  • Strengthened brand identity and consistency by collaborating with the design team to bring the new visual identity to life across the website and digital materials
  • Delivered a full end‑to‑end solution independently by designing, developing, deploying, and launching the platform from concept to production

What is Octocube Games?

Octocube Games is a modern, lightweight web platform that showcases the studio's portfolio of games, highlights community tools, and makes it easy for players and partners to get in touch.

The public site focuses on clarity and speed — browse games with clean overviews, dive into detail pages with media and key facts, and discover helpful utilities built by the community. In parallel, I built a small internal admin surface so content stayed fresh and consistent without developer involvement.

Workflow

I worked solo on‑site with tight feedback loops. Each cycle started with a quick alignment with founders and the design team, followed by rapid prototyping in Figma, end‑to‑end implementation, and shipping small vertical slices to production. We kept priorities lightweight in a Kanban style and iterated with employees using the internal dashboard until tasks like scheduling and content updates were effortless.
